Opening wasn’t good as expected, Sehwag (1) and Dravid was out before the drinks on the first session. But Sachin Tendulkar and Gambhir has taken the resposibility and played a very good innings. Sachin scored his 51st half century in test matches and missed his 40th test century.
VVS Laxman and Gambhir are shared 139 runs partnership before 1st day stumps. At the 1st day stumps Opening batsman Gautam Gambhir on unbeaten 149 runs and VVS Laxman on 54 runs.

3rd Test Australia v India at Delhi – Oct 29-Nov 2, 2008
Match scheduled to begin at 09:30 local time (04:00 GMT).
After winning the 2nd test match in Mohali, Indian team is very confident about the 3rd test match which starts on tomorrow i.e. Wednesday at Firozeshah kotla. Indian team is leading the four test series with 1-0. All the Indian cricket lovers are expecting the 3rd test match win and win the series.
In Indian team Harbajan is doubtful for the 3rd test. Harbajan is main bowler for Indian team since he is hands on experiance in Firozeshah kotla and he can do friendly spin on this pitch.
