1st ODI was quite a treat and proved that ODI still has a lot to offer for spectator and players. 9 was needed for India in the last over and Harbhajan nearly won India the match until he was bowled by cool Siddle. Its a seven match ODI series. Some might feel its long, some may feel its exciting. What will it turn out to be, we will just have to wait and see. Players are already talking about this series being the preparation for the world cup. The cricket fans have been injected quite a dose of T20 matches/tournaments recently, and it needs to be seen how those fans will react to these long ODI series, where just two teams are playing. Team news is Sehwag is back for India, and Yuvraj is to miss the match due to finger injury but the main worry is their bowling and then fielding. For Australia Clarke will be missed but his place I think will be taken by Marsh.

India in a superb position thanks to an unbroken stand of 173 between Gambhir and Dravid. Gambhir has made another century and Dravid was finally found some form, although it’s been a fight for him. England have largely bowled well, but for just one wicket. Gautam Gambhir cracked his third century in four matches and Rahul Dravid marked his return to form as India recovered from a shaky start to put themselves on course for a huge first innings total in the second Test against England on Friday.

Day 4 is not a good day for Indian team. Michel Clarke has taken the resposibility and scored his eighth century. with Austalian batsmen contribution they have scored 577 runs in the 4th day.
In India second innings we lost 2wickets for the score 43. in total indian team ahead of 79 runs. If indian team didn’t play well in the 5th Inndins we can see the result of the 3rd test.

Gautham Gambhir and VVS Laxman hammered with double centuries to put India on top of the second day of third third test with Australia. India scored 613/7 before declaring the first Innings.
Opening batsman Gambhir struck a career-best 206 while the stylish Laxman remained unbeaten on 200 as the hosts posted a massive 613-7 before declaring their first innings midway through the final session.
Australia were cautious in their reply, reaching 50-0 at the close with Matthew Hayden on 16 and Simon Katich on 29.
