It has been a terrific days play for Indians. They were at one stage trouble after losing 4 early wickets. All there frontline masters were gone to rookies of Srilankans. And then after that Dravid unfolded his magic. Boundaries after boundaries, and he even hit a six, can you believe that, Dravid hitting a six. Srilankans will be ruing the fact that they omitted Mendis from the playing 11. He might have been some damage maker. If only they could have got one more wicket, then it would have been Srilanka after close of day sitting and looking pretty.

Let down by the batsmen, India slumped to a 24-run defeat in the fourth One-dayer that not only allowed Australia to level the seven-match cricket series 2-2 but also prolonged the hosts’ wait to become the number one ODI team in the world on Monday.
Chasing 251, India got off to a flier with Virender Sehwag (30 off 19 balls) looking eager to wrap up the issue and Sachin Tendulkar (40) going great guns.
But their undoing was no less spectacular as the middle and lower order could not forge a single significant partnership and the team folded for 226 in 46.4 overs.
Earlier put into bat, Australia stitched together half-centuries from Ponting (52) and White (62) and cameos from Shane Watson (49) and Michael Hussey (40) to reach 250 before wilting in 49.2 overs.

Yuvraj Singh and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni produced scintillating knocks on a tricky track as India recovered from early jolts tospank Australia by six wickets in the third cricket One-day and take a 2-1 lead in the seven-match series on Saturday.
After Australia posted a competitive 229 for five largely built around Michael Hussey’s unbeaten 81, Yuvraj (78) and Dhoni (71 not out) played their innings brilliantly to guide the team home with 10 balls to spare in a relatively low-scoring contest.
Both the batsmen started cautiously on a difficult Feroze Shah Kotla strip before unleashing a barrage of strokes in a record fourth wicket partnership, which took the game away from the hapless visitors.
