Hussey picked up the pace after a watchful start and Clarke took over from where Ponting left off, getting on top of the bowling and looking for the boundaries. The bowlers haven’t had much to shout about and it will get tougher as the third day rolls on.

Newzealand done a good job after loosing in 1st test series. in the first innings of 2nd test 1day Newzealand scored 262 after loosing 6 wickets. AJ Redmond is the top scorer (83) in Newzealand 1st Innings. In the bowling side every one has shared 6 wickets. Newzealand should fight back on Australia team. Australia team is in bit dipression after loosing the test series with India. Newzealand team should take this advantage and score more runs as soon as they can.

England have cut short the ongoing one-day series against India following Wednesday’s terrorist strikes in Mumbai and will fly back home on Saturday morning. However, Lalit Modi, the head of the BCCI’s fixtures committee, and Hugh Morris, the ECB’s managing director, both confirmed the Test series would still go ahead.
“The Test series will go ahead, and there is no problem with that,” Modi told . “We are sure the first Test will go ahead as scheduled in Ahmedabad [from December 14]. But there is a problem over hosting the second Test in Mumbai [from December 19]. The ECB wants the Test to be shifted to southern India, we are exploring all options.”
Bangalore and Chennai are among the venues being considered and Modi said a final decision would be taken in the next 24 hours after discussions with the ground authorities.
England have cut short the ongoing one-day Series in India following wednesday’s terrorist strikes in Mumbai but the Indian board remained hopeful that two-Test series, scheduled to begin on December 11, can yet be salvaged.
The decision to abandon the remaining two ODIs of the seven-match series was taken during a meeting between BCCI secretary N Srinivasan, England’s managing director Hugh Morris, and the Indian team management in Bhubaneshwar. England will not travel to Guwahati this afternoon as scheduled and will remain in Bhubaneshwar overnight, while further discussions with the BCCI take place. “The safety and security of the England team is of the utmost importance to ECB,” Morris said. “We have reviewed all our security arrangements in the light of these attacks and will be taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of the team.”

Kevin Pietersen was streaky to start with but played all those titillating KP shots – however he did let the spinners wrap him for a while. Owais Shah gave the innings a kick-start a little later, after Collingwood had played pretty cool.
Tendulkar-Sehwag show was typical (of recent times), with Sehwag doing most of the attacking while Sachin sat back, handed over the strike, while playing a cool shot here and a stunning shot there.
