Mumbai Indians v Rajasthan Royals, Indian Premier League, IPL 2010, Mumbai, Live Cricket Streaming

Match Starts 1500 (0930GMT) Please look at the comment section where live streaming links will be posted.

There are two matches today. First one is Rajasthan versus Mumbai, i.e. Tendulkar v Warne. Can say that, isn’t it.

Rajasthan are underdogs again. They were in 1st season, where they surprised everybody by winning the tournament, but could not perform well in second season. Now, they are back in home pitches, so it can be expected them performing better. Rajasthan Royals never had all brilliant players in then like other teams, but collectively they have a strong unit. Mumbai will be proud by having the God of cricket with them. His presence itself can motivate other players to perform well.

Skipper Adam Gilchrist’s breezy 35-ball 54 went in vain as defending champions Deccan Chargers suffered a 11-run defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of the third edition of Indian Premier League on Friday.

After Angelo Mathews (65 not out) and Owais Shah (58 not out) struck unbeaten half-centuries to rescue Knight Riders from a dismal start and steered them to a fighting 161 for four, the Sourav Ganguly-led side restricted Deccan to 150 for seven at the floodlit DY Patil Stadium.

Paceman Charl Langeveldt scalped two wickets for 26 runs, while the whole Kolkata bowling department, consisting of Ishant Sharma (1/31) and Laxmi Ratan Shukla (1/30), fired in unison to help the Kolkata team open their campaign on a winning note.

India v South Africa, 2nd ODI, Gwalior, Live Cricket Streaming Links

Match Starts 14:30 local, 09:00 GMT. Please use comment section for live streaming links and discussions.

The series opener in Jaipur shouldn’t have got so close. Ashish Nehra should have been bowled off the penultimate ball of the innings. India’s total, as a result of that freakish incident – when the ball deflected off the stumps – should have been four runs less. India’s bowlers shouldn’t have allowed the South African tail to put their specialist batsmen to shame. A more conclusive camera angle/replay would have determined whether Sachin Tendulkar legitimately saved the boundary in the final over. All these significant incidents proved the difference between an Indian win and any other result.

India (probable) 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 Sachin Tendulkar, 3 Virat Kohli, 4 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 5 Suresh Raina, 6 Dinesh Karthik, 7 Yusuf Pathan, 8 Ravindra Jadeja, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Ashish Nehra, 11 Sreesanth/Sudeep Tyagi

South Africa: (probable) 1 Herschelle Gibbs, 2 Loots Bosman/Hashim Amla, 3 Jacques Kallis (capt), 4 AB de Villiers, 5 Alviro Petersen, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Wayne Parnell, 9 Dale Steyn, 10 Johan Botha, 11 Charl Langeveldt.

JAIPUR: India overcame the absence of four top stars to beat South Africa by one run in a thrilling One-Day International on Sunday and take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Wayne Parnell was run out off the final delivery, attempting a second run that would have tied the match, to leave the Proteas on 297 all out in reply to India’s 298/9.

The tourists were tottering at 225/8 in the 43rd over when the ninth-wicket pair of Parnell and Dale Steyn swung the day-night match around by adding 65 off 38 balls.

South Africa, needing 26 off the final 12 deliveries, smashed 16 runs in the penultimate over of Ashish Nehra that included a six each by Parnell and Steyn.

With nine runs required from five deliveries, seamer Praveen Kumar bowled Steyn and conceded just seven more off the next four to hand India a thrilling win.

Parnell hit a defiant 49 off 47 balls and Steyn plundered an 18-ball 35, but the pair failed to take the tourists across the line at the Sawai Man Singh stadium in Jaipur.

Earlier, Suresh Raina top-scored with 58 off 63 balls and Virender Sehwag hammered a typically aggressive 46 off 37 balls as the hosts piled up 298/9 after being sent in to bat.

After a well fought however a short series, these two teams lock there horns in the shorter format. Both teams however are loosing some key players due to injury, look very strong unit. South Africa seems to have a better bowling line up. India will seriously miss Zaheer Khan both as an opener and death bowler. But with Sehwag and Tendulkar on top of the innings, both of them can easily take the game away from the opponents. But watch out for Steyn and his killer swing. If he gets into grove, then it can be dicey for Indians.

South Africa: (probable) 1 Herschelle Gibbs, 2 Hashim Amla, 3 AB de Villiers, 4 Jacques Kallis (capt), 5 Loots Bosman, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Morne Morkel, 9 Dale Steyn, 10 Johan Botha, 11 Charl Langeveldt.

India v South Africa, 1st Test, Nagpur, Live Cricket Streaming Links

South Africa play 2 test matches against India, no.1 team, at least before the start of this series. If South Africa wins this series, then they take away the no.1 spot. For India, a drawn series will be enough for them to retain the no. 1 spot. However, they will like to win the series of course. They will be without the service of The Wall, Dravid, and Laxman is still doubtful. The key however will be Sehwag as usual. If he strikes, then he can take the match so quickly away from the opponents. SA will have Steyn and Morkel in their arsenal. 2 match series or not, this is going to be one exciting clash.

India (probable): 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 Gautam Gambhir, 3 M Vijay, 4 Sachin Tendulkar, 5 VVS Laxman, 6 S Badrinath, 7 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 8, Harbhajan Singh, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Amit Mishra/Pragyan Ojha, 11 Ishant Sharma.

South Africa (probable): 1 Graeme Smith (capt), 2 Ashwell Prince, 3 Hashim Amla, 4 Jacques Kallis, 5 AB de Villiers, 6 JP Duminy, 7 Mark Boucher (wk), 8 Johan Botha/Paul Harris, 9 Wayne Parnell, 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Morne Morkel.

India cannot take Bangladesh lightly as they would also be aiming for the first victory in the series knowing fully well that another defeat would virtually close their passage to the January 13 final.

They have quality batsmen in the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Ashraful, who seems to have regained a bit of his old touch after an indifferent run last year, with a 75 against Sri Lanka.

Tillakaratne Dilshan cracked a solid century to power Sri Lanka to an emphatic seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in a triangular One-day series on Monday.

The in-form opener hit 104 for his sixth One-day hundred as Sri Lanka surpassed Bangladesh’s 260/7 with more than five overs to spare in the day-night match.

Bangladesh were earlier well-served by Mohammad Ashraful, who made an impressive 75 to help his side post a competitive total.

Ashraful reached his 20th half-century in One-Day Internationals with an aggressive shot, pulling paceman Suranga Lakmal for a four. He hit six boundaries in his 94-ball knock before being run out in the penultimate over.

Bangladesh scored 92 in the last 10 overs, with Naeem Islam (22 not out) smashing 20 in the closing over bowled by Lakmal.
